(Pittsfield, Mass.) Going, going, gone!  The Office of Cultural Development announces the second annual Holiday Wreath Art Auction on December 2, 2016 at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts. The wreaths will be on display in conjunction with First Fridays Artswalk during a ticketed event with a preview from 5pm-6:30pm. The live auction will begin at 6:30pm.  Ben Kohn will be performing.  All proceeds will benefit the Pittsfield Food Pantries.

There are approximately 50 artists who are decorating wreaths, including: Darcie Sosa;  Becky Armstrong; Abigail Archey; Michael Vincent Bushy; Tatiana Klacsmann; Jenn Smith; Jane Pixley; Carrie Jean Converse; Deb Carter;  Lesley Ann Beck; Ali Herrmann; Deb Wehry;  Gretchen DeBartolo; Julia Dixon; Marguerite Bride;  Laurie Mick; Carolyn Coco; Kathy Quinn; Lynn Maynard; Annie Dobrowolski; Becky Manship; Funky Phoenix; Karen Labanaro; students from Morningside Community Schools; employees of United Cerebral Palsy of Berkshire County; the South Congregational Church congregation; students from Miss Hall’s School Arty-Party and students from the Gladys Allen Brigham Center After School Program.

Several wreaths will be available for sale and 10 featured wreaths will be auctioned off during a live auction.  The winners of the inaugural BCC 40 Under Forty program will also be decorating kissing balls that will be for sale during the Holiday Wreath Art Auction.

The event is a $10 ticketed event catered by Mission Bar + Tapas.  Everyone who purchases a wreath will receive a swag bag and the one who bids the highest during the live auction will receive a gift basket filled with goodies from Pittsfield merchants.  Thank you to the sponsors of the Holiday Wreath Art Auction:  Big Y; Mission; Paul Rich and Sons and The Outlet at Pine Cone Hill.
